Tony, thank you for the reply. I figured it out on my own. I was not getting any error message, that was the problem! I was testing the servers with only 1 power supply (not both redundant), and although I did get past the "power supply 1 failure" error message, the system went on to detect the scsi devices. Only after that did it stop on the F1 F10 prompt. As I figured out later, Compaq does that so you see the previous error messages, even though it doesn't relate to the LAST message. So, in a sense it is almost like debugging a program. The error is not necessarily on the line the debugger pointed out... It took me 2 days scratching my head to figure this one out! -Henrique ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony Hagale" <tony@hagale.net> To: <compaqandlinux@van-dijk.net> Sent: Friday, March 15, 2002 3:50 PM Subject: Re: [compaq-and-linux] Proliant F1 F10 Boot Screen > Henrique, > > What is the error message? > > --Tony > > On Fri, 15 Mar 2002, Henrique Duarte wrote: > > > Hello All, > > > > Does anyone know why I'm getting a screen prompting me to press F1 or F10 > > during boot time?
