Hello Tom
There is something about OS in the Bios setup, in the old versions of
system bios I configured unixware7 as recommended in the SMP
HowTo, but in the recent ones there is the option LINUX, I configured
LINUX,and APIC Full Table. my system bios is dated something in June 2000
I installed yesterday a 3COM 3C59x card and disabled the integrated
TLAN. then migrated the network config to the new card and the server
is running now, I will se in a few days if that solves the problem
