Hello Tom There is something about OS in the Bios setup, in the old versions of system bios I configured unixware7 as recommended in the SMP HowTo, but in the recent ones there is the option LINUX, I configured LINUX,and APIC Full Table. my system bios is dated something in June 2000 I installed yesterday a 3COM 3C59x card and disabled the integrated TLAN. then migrated the network config to the new card and the server is running now, I will se in a few days if that solves the problem At 02:42 p.m. 14/01/01 +0000, you wrote: >I think I saw something like this before when the OS set in the BIOS was >different than the OS you are running.
