I have an old 486 systempro xl server with a Comapq smart 2/e raid controller 
onboad. How on earth do I install Linux on it. i have tried using the boot 
disk with the following command:

linux cpqarray=eisa:0x1000 
The raid controller is in slot 1, but the card does not get detected. Also, 
does anyone know what the onboard secondary controller is (cdrom) and how I 
set this up when I boot. I have run 6.1 on a prolient with a smart 2/e with 
the command:

linux smart2=0x1000 when I boot from the install floppy, but this does not 
work with 7

Any ideas?
